He credits his talent for having a musical ear from listening to Beastie Boys, Ghetto Boys, Rakim, UGK, Eightball and MJG, NWA, and the list goes on and on.<br /> <br /> Bubbs love for rapping started as a hobby and he didn’t take it seriously until he knew he either had to decide whether to get serious about making music and money, continue getting in trouble and be locked up or losing his life to the streets. He then started his started own label called Go Getta’s Entertainment.<br /> <br /> He was signed to UGK Records after Pimp C picked him up on his way back from a show in MS headed to the Trill Entertainment Studio to do the remix to “Wipe Me Down” and he decided that Bubb fit the description of what UGK Records is about.<br /> <br /> Big Bubb’s lyrics are about the truth, the future of young children, and the struggle of the streets.
