So I'm back with my sophomore project "95 LIVE"!!! It was very unique how we came about shooting the video. After a long day of shooting the video for "Over Der Heads" we just started chillin and getting in a zone! So after having a conversation with Ellis we decided to create another visual so at 3:00am. We started shooting and this is the final result. I think it is visually exciting, even though there is only one setting. Lukasz (My wonderful DP) did a great job of capturing all the raw elements in the environment that takes the video to another level, embracing the theme of the gutter hood-videos of the 90's. Because thats what 95 LIVE is about, its paying homage to the music that had inspired Ellis & Legin during their adolescence and up until this point. Ellis even says in the song "Makin music wit a 95 feel but it's 3000 ill." So I played off that theme and as you can see, the B/W effect is a bit futuristic. This is just the second of many to come!
