Young Jeezy Named Senior VP of A&R At Atlantic Records

It's about to snow over at Atlantic Records. That's because according to various reports Young Jeezy has been named Senior VP of A&R for the label.

Obviously Atlantic didn't have a problem with Jeezy being signed to one of their competitors, Def Jam. Jeezy has already shown that he has a good eye for talent having signed Freddie Gibbs, Tone Trump and others to his CTE imprint.

Congrats to the Snowman on his new gig.

Al Capone I love Jeezy but he's just charismatic and raps over hot beats... most of his s*** doesn't have any meaning. Let's face it he'll rhyme the word "cool" with "cool" before spitting something ill. The dude has a sick flow and creates hot hooks though. Go listen to OJ, Do It For You and Sittin Low. Jeezy's tight

one of the best rappers ever. I have every mixtape. been listening from the jump. Im happy he got this job. it gives me hope there is light at the end of the tunnel for people trying to go legit. to the haters, you gota decode what he is saying. most lines have 2 or even 3 meanings. 8732!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was not a very talented rapper. So let's make him senior VP of A&R of Atlantic records> No hate but i don't think he will be that good at this position. imo.

college degree or not, Jizzy, oops excuse me, I mean Jeezy went from being a full time rapper to a dude with a job. That means one of two things....he may be dealing with $ problems or he's going against everything he's ever rapped about by working for the man. In either case this proves that once again.....most of these rappers are liars and full of sh!t. Sadly, all of the robots on this site will still fall in line to continue sucking his talentless d!ck.

now I see why Lupe won't mess with Atlantic anymore. how can a person like Young Jeezy tell Lupe Fiasco his records arent hot when he doesn't even understand half the words that come out of Lupe's mouth? Bad move on Atlantic's part
