Wait..... Didnt Jay start a summer camp for underprivelaged youth? Also a co-owner of Carol's Daughter? Irrigation systems in Africa? Trying to bring the Nets to Brooklyn? (correct me if im wrong about any of that) You cant just expect someone who worked hard for something to just give you something just because yall from around the same way. Jay has done a lot of charity work, but a person who is genuine about a charitable cause is not gonna seek recognition. And as far as comp, you right, there really aint none. Kanye and Jay in their own lane forreal. When you have a fanbase as large as theirs you dont have to please the masses, you do it for your fans. (Ask Flocka, Gucci, Wiz Khalifa, Solja Boy, ect.) They dont even gotta drop an album. Just do mixtapes and shows. Thats the way the game is now. Forreal i wish 50 would do more mixtapes. I f**** with him the hardest when he on that gutter s***.

Stop dicridin. Robert Horry had a lot of rings he didn't deserve. You black balled the king of Def Jam LL cool J so that he couldn't be the 1st with 10 PLATINUM RECORDS. Black is for my people's on the block to stay low or for my peoples with that Thanh on' em. Not for y'all role who's almost 50. Money don't make up for wrong doings or cause you have a bigger voice. Classic in my book. Especially "The Joy" and "Primetime"(thats old school hip hop right there) As far as sales, aint nobody (and i mean NOBODY!!) puttin up astronomical numbers like back in the day so gold in 2 weeks is actually good. Aint no more rap albums goin 5x platinum. The game is too watered down and its too many independent moves people can make. Of course when you in the spot everybody wanna be in foks gonna take shots. Funny that Wayne is dissin Jay now. Do I gotta pull out my old Squad Up mix tapes when Wayne says Jay Z is his idol? Including the remix to Ether he did? People forget real fast......
