Warren G Speaks On How Phony The Music Industry Has Become & Snoop Dogg's New Musical Direction "I'm Gonna Ride With Him Whatever He Do" [Video]

Video After The Jump

There would not have been a "G-Funk" era had it not been for Warren G. The legendary producer/rapper hasn't put out any new music of his own lately. Instead he's decided to lay back in the cut and concentrate on producing for other artists.

In a new interview with Vlad TV, Warren says the industry is too "phony" for him to release new music, speaks on artists he's producing for, new artists he's checking for and Snoop Dogg changing his name and musical vibe.

"He's doing his thing," Warren said of Snoop. "He found something else that he wanted to do other than what he was doing. And I'm happy for him. I'mma ride with him whatever he do."

Three companies control all music. That's the problem. The rappers now are just salesman.
