23-year old Chicago native and Roc Nation recording artist, Vic Mensa, could have his fast rising career derailed for a couple of years over gun charges.
TMZ reports that Vic, born Victor Kwesi Mensah, was pulled over in Beverly Hills earlier this month for running a stop sign and a tinted windows violation.
Vic admitted to the officers that he had a gun in his vehicle. Turns out, it wasn't licensed. Now the L.A. County District Attorney's Office is is pursuing a case against the rapper for carrying a loaded, having an unregistered handgun in his car and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.
Vic is due back in court in April. If convicted he faces up to 2 years in prison.
