Odd Future's Tyler, The Creator is set to release his third solo album titled Wolf in May 2012. He says fans can expect to hear a new sound from him.
"Talking about rape and cutting bodies up, it just doesn't interest me anymore," he told Spin. "What interests me is making weird hippie music for people to get high to. With Wolf, I'll brag a little bit more, talk about money and buying s***. But not like any other rapper, I'll be a smart-a** about it."
Tyler's seen his popularity soar over the past couple of years. Along with success and fame, he's also seen his bank account swell. The rapper recently bought his mom a new house and says he just can't relate to the guy who made his first two albums, B****** and Goblin anymore.
"Now it's just girls throwing themselves at me and sh*t, but I got a girl back home," he says. "People who want the first album again, I can't do that. I was 18, broke as f*ck. On my third album, I have money and I'm hanging out with my idols. I can't rap about the same sh*t."
