T.I Wont Be Charged in LA Arrest but Still Face Parole Violation

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney has rejected the drug case stemming from last month’s arrest. Apparently there are some legal issues involving probable cause.

Cops claimed they smelled marijuana but no pot was ever booked into evidence. And, we’re told… T.I. was pulled out of his $250,000 Maybach immediately after he made the illegal U-turn and prior to any registration check.

T.I. will still have to serve some jail time though as the arrest still violates his probation.

Money can help with the legal team, but real talk....They cant buy the feds. Somebody, somewhere is getting some serious time. I was in with a dude who said he was testified on by some dude he never seen in his life. Yeah, they coach people all the time to say and do dirt. The govt does dirt also! Do you really think they gonna cut TI a break for helping ghetto kids? They need them ghetto kids to grow up and become criminals so they can keep the prison biz healthy. Oh yeah, don't get it twisted...Prison is a business in America. Your Boy Bob Barker knows that first hand. And most of us are the customers, paying for our freedom with tax dollars. And I dare you to deny paying them boys them taxes. They giving Wesly Snipres 2 yrs for tax evasion. Oh wait isn't that more the TI got? LMAO. System is Crazy!

This is what kills me with n*****...people will sit on here and claim 50 snitched on somebody when there is no government docs stating he told on anybody and sent anyone to jail, now if 50 would constantly run into the same cases Tip had n***** would swear on they momma 50 a snitch but because its T.I (who said on the song "Live in the Sky" off the king album where he says ...so much drama in my life I'm forced to carry a gat, but you a seven time felon what you doing with that! Now this was before the gun charges and yet this n**** gets 11 months after breaking another probation. Even the JJJJJJJEW Unit aint that good! LOL

freddie fresh is correct. Ex-felons with a firearm possession is mandatory 5 years, which is also known as a "trigger lock "law.

On a better note, good new to know that TI didn't catch a new charge . TI legal team on this case was worth every cent

I cant see the feds working with this dude unless he working with them. They had him buried with priors. His weapons charges would have given him at least 15 to 20 in a USP, instead his good work with the city kids got him a few months in kiddie camp with the Co operators and probation. CRAZY!

T.I arrest record.....

Nov. 1997 arrested in Georgia for distribution of cocaine, manufacturing and distributing a controlled substance, and giving authorities a false name. He was later sentenced for this crime serving seven months in jail and released on seven years of probation.

Sept. 2003 - arrested in Florida for striking an officer, trespassing and disorderly conduct

Dec. 2003 - warrant issued in Geogia for violating parole

Apr. 2004 - sentenced in Georgia to three years in jail; served less than a year

Jan. 2005 - sentenced in Florida to 18 months' probation and 75 hours of community service

May 2005 - released from Georgia jail on $25,000 bond

2005 - arrested for threatening man outside Atlanta strip club; charge dismissed

Now this is only up to 2005, not to mention the weapon charges he just got out of and the recent violation of probation....All these chances this dude had, he needs to be thrown under a jail, seriously!

LOL, ok I guess some of you don't know how the federal system works, Its based on guidelines and if you have priors it escalates ur time. I know n***** doing 20 yrs, convicted on wire taps and you gonna tell me he got a mean legal team? LMFAO, NO CHANCE! Again, if the feds was about money Madoff would be a free man. Remember that money theft is considered a "white collar crime". In the feds, a felon in possession of a firearm is 5 yrs minimum mandatory sentence. You can look up federal guidelines yourselves and see how it works. MINIMUM MANDATORY means if your lucky u will get the MINIMUM. ONLY PEOPLE WITH 5K1.1 "cooperators" get exemptions. Not saying TI told on anyone, but the facts are what they are. I saw him on an interview saying how he had to be here to take care of his family, well...Thats the same lame a** excuse that many soft ni**s use to feel better about what they did.

If you supported T.I before any of THIS went down then you would know that he was in trouble wit the law when he first started (remember the beef between him and lil Flip back in the day?) He's been in and out since the beginning so that comment you made was mute. If anything it shows how much street authenticity he has, AND how much gangster he really has due to the fact that he has a MEAN legal team. Just like Jay had when he stabbed dude back in the day. So STFU and either support Hip Hop "as is" or get out the game and go listen to electronica.
