The reason why Slaughterhouse was with Eminem in the “Forever” video

Miss Info writes:

If there’s anything that we’ve learned over the years, it’s that…there are no coincidences in hiphop. Many of you sharp-eyed readers were speculating about that not-so-subtle Slaughterhouse cameo in the new “Forever” video. The four lyrical butchers stand behind Eminem during his scene, which was shot in Detroit (as opposed to the rest of the video, which was shot in Miami).

It’s a befitting finale for such a heavyweight crew cut. Eminem’s verse is fire (my personal favorite of the four) and so is the visual: seeing Em, alongside Joell Ortiz (who was once signed to Em’s mentor, Dre), Crooked I (who was once signed to Dre’s de-mentor, Suge), Royce da 5′9″ (Em’s renewed friend), and Joe Budden (who is just…Joe Budden, lol).

So here are the “rumors” that I’m hearing…

That Slaughterhouse appearance in “Forever,” was indeed a non-verbal announcement of the contract negotiations going on behind the scenes. For the past month, both sides have been working towards bringing the group to the Shady label. And that the gathering of Em and the guys at the shoot, is the first of more collaborations to come.

For now, Eminem is working on Relapse II, in Detroit. Joe is working on The Great Escape. Royce is preparing his Oct. release, StreetHop. Crooked I is working on an EP called Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist (lol!). And Slaughterhouse will be on the road with TechN9ne for all of Oct and Nov. But fans all want to see Em plus Slaughter on a track (especially Em and Royce). Imagine the killer verse volleys!

Hopefully we’ll see some progress on this Shady/Slaughterhouse “rumor” in the next few months. It’s good for hiphop.

Jay-z was necessary dis year to begin the ending of gay a** auto-tune n tight jeans.. not only to crush jim jones more den he iz but jus in general.. dat s*** iz gay... n autotune cuz evry1 waz biting off of t-pain so da worst thing dat t-pain couldve done waz made it hiz problem wen he sed "f** jay-z"... asher roth iz cool.. drake iz on fire.. kid cudi iz a beast... kanye came out wit 808 but @ least he still raps... lil wayne iz still on top of his game... eminem drop relapse n hip-hop needed dat.. but dat waz jus a warm-up... 50 been on his s*** lately running the underground/mixtape circuit yet again on dat hood s***... War angel waz fiyah n forever King iz classic... 50 also expose rick ross' character even more, n show da world dat he still very grimey wen his gooniez showed up in front of khalads residence and mommaz job... 50 haz been killin it also wit his B.I.S.D singles, commercials, and movie game... Not to mention he haz been putting some spotlight on Bang Bang Boogie.. n did NY a favor in destroying most of fat joe... Good s*** fif... LLoyd banks iz another beast and completely annhilated Rick Ross to shreds on "Officer Down" there is nothing ross can do to counter that... he took a f***** ether missle to da heart... mad vicious... EVEN TONY YAYO haz been doin hiz thing... Jadakiss released his album n dat s*** waz hot... Maino, O.J da Juiceman, Kid Cudi, Gucci, Shawty Lo, Young Jeezy, and slaughterhouse iz making noise az well... i dare say hip-hop iz finally bak on itz toez and soon enough it will be full effect... I think we about to enter a new era at da start of 2010... it seems to me dat the first decade of dis millennium iz fusing wit da last decade of last millennium at last... of course with a few tweeks... but im confident dat rap haz been restored.. especially with the likes of cassidy and lupe fiasco still around and the arrival of the future such as cory gunz... Hip-Hop iz still alive n well...
