50 Cent and Oscar De La Hoya went at it on Twitter on Wednesday, July 25th with the G-Unit boss hinting at a huge power move to come.
50 Cent recently became a licensed boxing promoter when he formed TMT (The Money Team) Promotions. Tuesday De La Hoya sent out a tweet seemingly taking a shot at 50.
50 got wind of what was said and fired back on Wednesday.
Oscar pretended not to know 50 had become a promoter and replied by saying TMT and his Golden Boy Promotions could maybe work together some day.
From that point on the G-Unit boss went in on De La Hoya.
The significance of TMT managing Floyd Mayweather Jr. would be huge. He is the highest earning athlete in the world. Forbes estimates Mayweather made $85 million last year. Whoever promotes Mayweather Jr. instantly becomes a major power player in the sport.
Before the day was over 50 would throw a couple of more jabs De La Hoya's way.
