The Huffington Post Adapts Some of "The 50th Law"

In the present there is constant change and so much we cannot control. If you try to micro-manage it all, you lose even greater control in the long run. The answer is to let go and move with the chaos that presents itself to you -- from within it, you will find endless opportunities that elude most people. Don't give others the chance to pin you down; keep moving and changing your appearances to fit the environment. If you encounter walls or boundaries, slip around them. Do not let anything disrupt your flow.

As infants, we were surrounded by many things that were unfamiliar and unpredictable -- people acting in ways that did not make sense, events that were hard to figure out. This was the source of great anxiety. We wanted the world around us to be more familiar. What was not so predictable became associated in our minds with darkness and chaos, something to dread. Out of this fear, a desire was born deep inside of us to somehow gain greater control over the people and events that eluded our grasp. The only way we knew how to do this was to grab and hold, to push and pull, exerting our will in as direct a manner as possible to get people to do what we wanted. Over the years, this can become a lifelong pattern of behavior -- more subtle as an adult, but infantile at heart.

Hi Curtis,
I haven't had the opportunity to buy your book yet, but it is on the top of my list of books I have to purchase( I like reading). So, far I have read excerts from you book including this one from various articles. Are you for real? It is rare to find a person who have lived the life you live a fews years ago to rise to that standard. Your success thus far is an example of what is personal growth and change. I will say this again you use wisdom in everything you do. Many may hear the title of the book and say, here we go, just another way for 50 to get notice. The truth is they will never know the true content of the book and the lesson it was intended to convey.
As you said, "we all are unique," but also we all have a part to play in the contribution we make to planet earth. I wish people could see the person you are becoming and the contribution you are making. I wish you knew the impact you can have on our society. You are you and you do not pretend to be something you are not, you just be. Many of us should take this lesson.
We all are products of our society and we let that fashion us into who we are. This was not what was intended for us when we came to this planet. We were meant to fashion this planet to bring about change and to help us reconnect to the Divine source. There are not much individuals in your circle that can do that, but you can. You are so much more and you have so much to offer us. Please recognize that and continue to do so through your projects. Be different in the materials you put out, music, products and now films. Be mindful that you are one of those that come to bring about change, do so.
There are others who came to do so, but did not recongnize the magnitude of the impact on our society. People was not opened to individuals who we different and was not aware of the effect they had on mankind. Instead we judge them and allow them to fade away(Michael Jackson). We only recongnize it only after they are gone.
Curtis you have the power and the ability to bring transformation. Do so.

I've adapted the 50th law to my life already I was sad for the book to end because I enjoyed it so much. Sometimes in a huge world it can be very comforting to hear from 50, the man I respect so much, to fear nothing. It is incredibly freeing to not even to fear my fearlessness. You too fifty should fear nothing, I got your back ya know...
