The-Dream Says 'Birthday Cake' Remix With Chris Brown Was Rihanna's Idea. Couple Close To Reuniting According To Sources "You Can't Hold Back Love"
After their recent musical collaborations most people think Rihanna and Chris Brown have already hooked back up. They haven't, but according to friends it looks like only a matter of time before they do according to TMZ.
The two singers want to try to make it work again despite the disastrous end to their relationship the first time around.
"You can't hold back love," says one source.
Meanwhile "Birthday Cake" producer The-Dream says the idea for remixes were Rihanna's.
"It was Rih's idea," he told Billboard. "Not only do we work together, but [Rihanna] is a friend of mine. And it's like, 'You wanna do something? Then cool, let's do it.' I don't know how she got the logistics and how it happened -- maybe she'll talk about it one day. I showed up at the studio, and it was like, 'All right, cool, let's finish this record,' which we probably should have finished the first time we did it."
Dream says if Rihanna can forgive Brown then nobody else should have a problem with it either.
"I think [the topic] that should be more on the tongues is: how do we proclaim to be a nation of forgiving, and we go by all of these rules and everything, but we can't actually do it?" he says. "It actually makes you look weaker than your adversary -- if you don't have the power to forgive, but you lie and say that you did. Because this is about her. If she can forgive, that's where she is mentally. As a friend, it's like, 'Okay, cool. Let's roll.'"

The Dream is gonna look like a fool when CB beats her again. Did anyone read the police report of what he did to her? Slammed her face repeatedly into the car window, bit her, punched her, tried to shove her out of the car... and he obviously still has anger issues if he's throwing chairs at windows when simply questioned about it
