The Donald Bows Out, Trump Announces He Won't Run For President In 2012 [Video]

Donald Trump announced today that he wouldn't be seeking the Republican nomination for President in 2012.

He released a statement that said:

"After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency. This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country. I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector."

Trump had been very critical of President Obama in the last several months. At one point leading the charge of the "birthers" who don't believe Obama was born in the United States despite him showing previous proof.

Trump took credit last month when Obama produced a long form birth certificate. But that seemed to kill his criticism of the President. It didn't help that he was made to look foolish at the most recent White House Correspondents' Dinner when the President roasted him for several minutes.

Let's face it, this could have all been a huge publicity stunt for Trump, who isn't afraid to be a media wh*re when he's promoting something, like his television show 'Celebrity Apprentice.'

NBC had already announced it would replace Trump on the show if he were to run for the oval office.

I know you're still a very young dude, so heres a bit of advice from an OG..Research your Choices in Life !!! Be it a new 65in flat screen, new whip, career.. whathefuceva..you being a Hispanic male and even having the audacity to type "Ron Paul" is baffiling ??? Peep out some what YOUR BOY has said...

Paul reported on gang crime in Los Angeles and commented, "If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be."

"Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal," Paul said.

Paul also wrote that although "we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers."

Trust me.. if he hates on Black Men... Mexicans like you have a place on his plantation too...stop going along with what you think.. and get facts and make choices based on what you know

true dat, trump runs his own empire, the truth of da matter is,his empire is geographically located IN THE USA.meaning his empire IS NOT THE USA..America is a country of multi racial ,multi cultural people, black, white, hispanics ,regardless of your ethnic background, etc, all having equal rights as people, and he Trump should know better that when you put yourself out like that against a politician, more so the prez.of the USA,whether he was joking about his desire to contest or not,or it was a mere publicity stunt, whatever it was,the truth is he has done himself more harm than good, with such a public blunder,he has hurt his PR,badly, whether it will affect him on the long term or short term,we will have to wait and see about that, but if Trump had a boss over him, after such a PR disaster, trust me his boss would tell him"YOU ARE FIRED" straight up,Politics is like a boxing match, you technically or otherwise knock out your opponent when he least expects it,and at the right time with the right jab.PERIOD...God bless America

I don't think he was ever serious about running... I think that this was all about media awareness... media awareness that would help out the ratings of his show "Celebrity Apprentice"... any publicity could be good publicity... Look at the timing of this announcement... the finale and last show of Celebrity Apprentice airs this Sunday

Obama resigns, Ron Paul reigns, or John F Kennedy resurrects.. despite ourselves, either options will hold us down
