Q: Where are you from?
A: Middle Earth AKA New Zealand
Q: When or how did you start knowing music was your calling?
A: I use to make terrible mixtape cd’s when I was a teenager under the name DJ Mullstar and from there on I have been working on mixing music.
Q: Who are your idols, what kind of music do you listen to?
A: I listen to everything, if you only listen to one type of music your knowledge of music overall becomes very limited. My idol growing up was Eminem and in someones still is today... especially after his latest Trump freestyle. GOAT!
Q: If you could choose any artist alive or dead to collaborate with who would it be and why?
A: Aside from Eminem I would have to say Jimmy Hendrix. An EDM track with him on guitar would be amazing.
Q: How did you get your Artist name?
A: I have tattoos all over me and I mean all over me and my latest name is Mulligan so Tattooed Mulligan was a natural fit.
Q: Top Five Dead or Alive?
Q: What are some of your other hobbies, what do you like to do when you're not working on your music?
A: Tinder! I love shagging, my mate and me had a competition who could slay the most. I won and he brought me a trophy, bloody good times!
Q: How do you balance your music with other life obligations?
A: I always try to give myself a few hours each night trying to make something stick. It does get hard if a girl from tinder is coming over but sometimes sacrifices have to be made.
Q: What do you hope to accomplish with your music?
A: Well my song Swipe Her went to number 5 on the New Zealand singles chart so for my next one I am aiming for the number 1 spot. It’s a bit of pressure though being an independent artist to get it out there, but social media is a wonderful thing and my followers are amazing!
Q: Tell us about your latest single?
A:It’s called Tits Out For The Boys, an EDM song about the infamous chant that us kiwi’s and aussies use when we are drinking and trying to get a girl to flash her breasts or a guy to show his willy.
Q: Where did the idea come from?
A: Going to a concert, the whole crowd were chanting “Tits out for the boys, Tits out for the boys” at the drummer for him to take his top off. I was thinking “this could be made into a song”
Q: Any upcoming projects we should look out for in the near future?
A: keep an eye out for my next song Out For The Boys dropping next week and my album High Five For Girls dropping mid December. Cheers
