T.I. Tells The Breakfast Club The Rap Game Has Changed To The Point Where He Wants Out "It Goes Against What I Represent" [Video]

T.I. sat down with The Breakfast Club this morning and talked about about a wide variety of issues including his kids, artists on his label, movies, clothing line, reality show, etc. He also expressed a desire to exit the rap game because it has become watered down and doesn't represent what it used to.
"This is what everybody fails to realize... I want out," Tip said. "What the game has evolved into from a personality standpoint, it goes against what I represent. What I embody this game contradicts that, so I want out. I'm in it because I love music and I have obligations contractually. It was at one time this music was about speaking to the people who felt like you feel. Now the people I'm speaking to don't necessarily feel like I feel. In my day if you were rapping about something that you really weren't living that was a strike against you and you were held accountable. Nowadays nobody even expects you to live up to the things you rap about. So if they outsell me then that's just all the more better for me to fade to the back and cross my legs on my desk."

Are some of yews just dissing because you got nothing much to say or just because you feel that urge to have your finger hit the key board? 1stly T.I is a good lyricist, his lyrical compilation skill is one to be admired, and he is 2ndly a realist. The only flaw in his interview is saying people be rapping what they have not lived but what they imagining. To that am saying what about those aspiring to Dreams, and whose lyrics reflect on these dreams, and the ambition to attain those heights they limited to, where they have to break the barriers by imagining. If one raps about an Aston Martin he wishes to have, then may be the mention might make him work his hardest to get it. On that note i rest my case, and to all the up and coming stay fixated to your chase, don not let this pioneers dictate your pace.
