Sway Speaks On Kanye West's Rant & Explains How The MTV Hottest MC's In The Game List Is Made [Audio]
Yesterday Kanye West vented on a phone call with Hot 97's DJ Enuff about MTV's Hottest MC's in the Game list and him being place at No. 7. Obviously Kanye felt like he should have been ranked higher and kind of threw a backhanded diss at Sway Calloway by saying he gave him his first television.
This morning on Shade 45 Sway responded. He said that it was his idea to come up with the list and he doesn't vote on it because he knows artists can take things personally like Kanye did.
Sway said people like Rob Markman, Shaheem Reid, Nadeska Alexis, Ramon Dukes, Tuma Basa and Yomi Desalu help put the list together.
Each person on the panel makes up their own list, which in turn is pared down to a master list. From there the debate begins. Not everyone agrees with the choices, so a vote is held and the majority rules.

the list is not based on who is your favorite rapper get that straight people. the list is from a bunch of people compounded and debated. If you ask me based on the criteria its pretty accurate. I mean i really dislike piggy rosay but i aint gonna front. he put in a lot of work. he deserves to be up there. Like if Em went on tour and ever dropped a mixtape or two he would be on there. He still my #1. Until someone beats him in a battle he will always be #1. However this is based on who's hot in the game and who puts in work etc..
