BassMint Fresh Co-Founder Starpav releases his first album closing out a flurry of end of the year releases by Atlanta collective members. Starpav’s laidback vocals are a contrast to his witty and aggressive lyricism style. STARPAV curates a dark and sultry environment, where the 808’s are Atlien aggressive, drinks are always present, and the pain is as familiar as the love.
Though this might be STARPAV’s first album, he is far from a new-comer. He has developed love and respect for his mixtape projects over the years and Performing in venues around Atlanta, including Atlanta’s late Masquerade, New York’s Nuyorican Poet’s Cafe and releasing multiple mixtape projects. After taking time to build a team, STARPAV emerges with a new clarity that can be heard in his new music. STARPAV keeps the album close to home by solely using members of his ATL collective for features, "Jack Bauer" being the only exception on the album (featuring young ATL rapper Kemiztr33).STARPAV shares the early warnings, highlights and struggles of a young ATL artist. As his first complete offering to the public, STARPAV demonstrates an understanding of how to flow and create a cohesive project, using a unique wordsmith formula, all his own.
