Spin Magazine Gives Lloyd Banks 'HFM2' 7 out of 10 Rating

Lloyd Banks' hunger is not born of starvation, but of an insatiable appetite. On his third solo effort, the G-Unit rapper is a connoisseur of cars, women, and guns, spinning tight spider webs of syllables that are often so patterned that they obscure individual strands. "Put my Ferrari in park, give 'em a running start," Banks growls on "Payback," a sinister track with mentor 50 Cent and a woozy, almost dubstep bass line. But he loves the ladies almost as much as barking threats. On "So Forgetful," an apology to past conquests, Banks muses about "wet spots on the mattress and champagne splashes" atop producer Ryan Leslie's 8-bit Atari synths.

@Jackson I wasn't trying to start an argument. I just thought his number should have been higher as many people I've seen talking about this album. I got 2 copies of it, The F.Y.E. version and the itunes version. Home Sweet Home is also one of my favorite tracks, I have a hard time trying to pick a favorite though, but right now if I had to that would be it. The whole album is bangin.

Santa's getting me the CD for X-Mas :) Can't wait to hear it....riding down the highway with the sound blasting. Not going to down-load anything....I can wait for the real thing.
Good music is always worth waiting for. Hottest album of the year huh? Well, Allright.

@Cash Boy, the thing is that ppl want the hardcopy. lik regardless if err1 listens to ipods n s*** now. thas not the point. lik for me persoanlly, i WANTED the hardcopy. i went to best buy n they aint have it so i went to some local store near the cribb. but the hting is is jus a diff feeling wen u get the hardcopy u noe. and is not a arguement, im jus lettin u noe why i think ppl might not have cop'd from amazon n what not. but album is sick. fav track is home sweet home, "pardon my reaction to ur corny a** raps, keep flirtin wit death n get ur horny a** clapped!" ... p.l.k.
