Snoop Dogg Gets Support From Rohan Marley In Dispute W/Rastas "Why Condemn A Man For His Love Of Rastafari & Bob Marley?"

Snoop Dogg is currently locked in a dispute with the Rastafari Millennium Council and Bunny Wailer of Bob Marley and the Wailers.

As we previously reported, the Council is demanding The Doggfather stop using the name "Lion" and pay them money, while Wailer accuses him of "outright fraudulent use of Rastafari Community's personalities and symbolism."

Today the Long Beach rapper is getting support from Bob Marley's son, Rohan Marley.

Marley told TMZ that his father would have embraced Snoop's love of the culture.

"Our father's name should not even be mentioned in this issue because like a true Rasta, he would have embraced Snoop's reincarnation and welcomed the positivity," Rohan said. "Why condemn a man for his love of Rastafari and Bob Marley? We have been cool with Snoop before his transformation and he will continue to have our blessings and support."

Snoop even said that he didn't approach the Rastafarian way of life by taking a piece of it and running, he opened himself up to the culture and experienced it in it's entirety. It's good to question things but I think snoop is someone who you can trust to be honest.

#Blavk Levels Up, Impresses Universal Records

“Picture a mic….the stage is empty”…the stakes are high as major music industry players observe, pens in hand, ready to score and critique artists with, if not brutal, at least sobering honesty in front of their family and their city; the ultimate reckoning.
