As we previously reported, The Hip-Hop Inaugural Ball that took place Sunday night featured some great celebrity guest.

Among the many, a few famous faces decided to share there experience through social media sites like Instagram and Twitter.



While announcing his absence from the ball, Uncle Rush gave a salute to all attendees and honorees before the festive night.




Russell Simmons' niece, Angela Simmons was captured prepping before the ball with her make up artist.





Lala Anthony posted a picture with her partner MC of the night, Terrance J.







Doug E. Fresh and MC Lyte took a photo opt after relieving the Lifetime Achievement Award.






2 Chainz captured the moment with social media expert Karen Civil. The rapper went home with the Street Soldier Award.









Meek Mill was honored with the Community Activist Award.





Miss Info of Hot 97 made sure her presence was known.






Actress Rosario Dawson was grated the Leadership Award and posed for the camera with Swizz Beatz.





It was a great turn out in celebration of such an historical event.

What does Rosario Dawson has to do with Hip-Hop? /:)
And other than MC Lyte and Doug E Fresh and maybe 1-2 more (Swizz for example), there is nothing Hip-Hop about that.
