Word @ jbrizzle like E-40 would say a lot of the music is watered down. Im a 80s baby and hip hop back then was the shiiiiii like NWA straight outta Compton, or when tupac was with digital underground. If nobody remember when BET hosted the hotest rappers of the century Fif was in the top three now if you include legends like cube, dre, snoop, MC ren, Mack 10 and others the rap game would not be where its at now.

50 is too real and that's the problem with the f****** industry today! People Like Ricky Rosey prosper because of this fake s***! The 5% real mofo's in the game somewhat have to conform to these ways just to get to our airwaves. Meanwhile everyone hatin on 50 cause he too hard. We get all this gay rap music bumpin everywhere we go. People don't even remember what Hip Hop really means. They've taken the voice out and inserted propoganda. They've created Hip Hop into Pop Hop. They've totally discredited the true nature of what Hip Hop stands for but us old heads and O.G'z know what's up. It's sad that you lil wayne gangsta's fall short of realizing this.

he can still, AND DEFINITELY SHOULD sign him.
Kendrick Lamar is the only artist out of Black Hippy to sign with aftermath.
TDE itself did a distribution deal with interscope (so black hippy, q, ab-soul, jay and kendrick are all on interscope,) but only Kendrick is signed to a secondary label.
Seeing as jay rock is on TDE but signed also to strange music, and kendrick also went with aftermath, I think it would be great to sign Q. He may not be the greatest lyricist, but he talks about real issues pertinant to todays youth WITHOUT BEING A RADIO W**** ABOUT IT.
