The Kenny Burns Show was on the red carpet of the B.E.T. Hip Hop Awards Saturday (October 1). While there, KBS got a wide variety of opinions on the current state of hip hop.

Da Brat, Big K.R.I.T., DJ Drama, Royce Da 5'9, Stephen Hill, DJ Holiday, Twista, Big Sean, Drumma Boy and Wale all gave their opinions on where hip hop is and where it's headed.

HIP HOP IS GETTING BACK TO THE ELEMENT OF BEING LYRICAL I LIKE DIVERSITY AND I HOPE IT KEEPS LEANING TOWARDS THAT WAY DIFFERENT FLOWS,BEAT PATTERNS AND WAYS TO CONSTRUCT SONGS AND ALBUMS WITH SUBSTANCE.
