Rihanna Reportedly Wants Michelle Pfeiffer's Lead Role In New 'Scarface' Movie
Rihanna might not have a lot of acting experience, but she's aiming high for her next role. The Sun reports that Riri wants a role in the new Scarface movie. She would like to play Tony Montana's girlfriend, Elvira Hancock, originally played by Michelle Pfeiffer in the 1983 version of the film.
According to Deadline, Universal Pictures is developing the new Scarface, which will combine elements of the 1932 and 1983 versions.
The film is not intended to be a remake or a sequel. It will take the common elements of the first two films: An outsider, an immigrant, barges his way into the criminal establishment in pursuit of a twisted version of the American dream, becoming a kingpin through a campaign of ruthlessness and violent ambition.
Rihanna loves the Michelle Pfeiffer character, who she has described as having “ridiculous swagger."
“Rihanna loves Scarface. Some of her music videos have been based on Michelle’s character, Elvira," said a source. "She knows all the words and even has her walk perfected.”
Would Rihanna be a good choice for the role?

.....THESE CORPORATES AT HOLLYWOOD ARE SO F***** DESPERATE IN MILKING WHAT IS A HIGHLY RESPECTED CLASSIC FILM AND ALWAYS FIND SOME EXCUSE TO DO SOME REMAKE OR SPIN OFF TO MAKE QUICK CASH....
The only logical reason I see in doing this film is alot in Rihanna's fans are her age group and they wouldn't feel motivated to the cinemas to watch an (old classic version)...but seriously its another way to make a money for being less creative...HOLLYWOOD is running out of creativeness and ideas....like Puff Daddy always looking to REMIX / REMAKE something.
P.S. Don't be fooled Rihanna can't act to save her life but executives at HOLLYWOOD are seeing the her fan base numbers so who knows?

I agree with everybody on here,y make a remake? da last one was classic. Can't top it, you can't perfectly repeat a moment in time, even da actors who made it classic could'nt remake it so. Rhianna is not da one but my big ? is, who would play Tony Montana?.
