On April 19, 2010 the hip hop world lost one of it's most unique voices when rapper Guru passed away from cancer. As a member of the group Gang Starr along with DJ Premier, Guru provided us with many gems that will never be forgotten.
Guru, born Keith Elam, also had several critically acclaimed solo albums.
Let's take a look back at some of King of Monotone's most memorable songs.
Gang Starr "Moment Of Truth"
Gang Starr "Skills"
Gang Starr "Rite Where U Stand" ft. Jadakiss
Guru ft. Baybe "Lifesaver"
