Former NFL star Randy Moss passed his athletic genes down to his daughter, Sydney Moss.

Sydney, a 5-foot-10 sophomore guard at Thomas More College, broke the Division III record for points in a game by scoring 63 on Friday to help her team defeat Waynesburg University by a score of 106-88.

The previous record for points was 61, set by Ann Gilbert of Oberlin College in 1991.

The win put Thomas More into today's title game against Washington & Jefferson in the 2013-14 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Basketball Championship Tournament in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

Thomas More is 27-0 on the season. Check out highlights of Sydney's record setting game below
