Diddy might be recognized in some music circles as the "king of the remix" but his resume' fails to impress at least one legend in the game. Producer Quincy Jones, who has worked with Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald and many more threw a jab at Diddy during an interview with Bruno Mars at the Spotify Stories Behind The Music event held last night at the Andaz Hotel in Hollywood.
Jones said the Bad Boy boss "couldn't recognize a b flat if it hit him."
Jones hinted that Diddy's real talents were outside of music, "P. Diddy has a doctorate in marketing. He's got clothes companies and Ciroc Vodka,"
The comment came after Jones responded to an audience question with an admonition to "learn your craft," and then you will be be able to do whatever it is you want to.
Jones was in attendance at the event because he curated a playlist for the Spotify app.
