Video Of Attack Inside

MyFoxBoston.com: - A video of an alleged racial attack on an MBTA employee has surfaced on YouTube and Twitter as the employee moves to press charges against the unidentified passenger.

The video, which was shot by a local college student, shows the white male passenger trying to get through the subway gate at the Copley T station without paying.

Tariq Muhammad is the employee in the video trying to calm down the unruly rider. He initially declined to press charges against the man but has since changed his mind.

The passenger begins yelling racial slurs at Muhammad as he tries to get through the gate. The passenger continues to yell aggressively until he punches Muhammad in the face and walks away.

Transit Police have reopened the case and are investigating the identity of the passenger in the video. Anyone with information is asked to contact MBTA Transit or Boston Police.
