Plies Interview With Hip Hop Shop. Speaks On Putting A Total Stranger Through College, His Love Of Gambling & New Album 'Goon Affiliated'

Video After The Jump

Plies's new album is titled 'Goon Affiliated' and I have no doubt that he is just that. But he's also a very well spoken, intelligent businessman.

He sits down with Toure of the Hip Hop Shop to chop it up about a ton of topics.

They talk about his commitment to put a total stranger through college, his new album, the skinny jeans fad and much more.

'Goon Affiliated' is in stores May 25.

Good interview except, did he say he came up with the word "goon"? Don't think so Plies. Can't give you credit for that. What I will give you credit for is resurrecting the word in the rap game and in today's lingo. People weren't saying goon this and goon that until this dude came out on the mainstream. Gotta give him credit for that much.

My respect 4 Plies just tripled. Tired of rappers promoting illiteracy in their interviews. Plies, keep it up.
