LEGAC AIRE OF LUMPSUM BIO:
Saint Louis, Legac Aire started out in a Hip-Hop group called LumpSum. Whom from date of 2002-2005 drop several hot mixtapes. One of which “On Sum Otha Shit” grab the attention of A&R Brad White of EMI, and Vice President of A&Rs at SoSo Defs Tel Welch. The particular songs and music video “Bounce’n and Twirk’n sparked their interested to setup a showcase so the group could perform for Execs and other Reps. Brad White of EMI was quoted as saying” you guys definitely have what it takes to be stars in this industry”. This showcase would allow the group to see, they had what it took to make in the industry. Tho have some success to some degree, the group differences lead the group to separate. This disbanding of LumpSum allowed Legac to become a solo artist. As a solo artist he put out several underground albums,which later allowed him to hook up with Dj P Money of the Fleet Djz. With Dj P Money guiding and mentoring the young artists has been able to expand his fan base. The Two are now set to drop Dj P Money presents “Rebirth of Hip Hop Vol.2, Blacc Sunday edition” hosted by Legac Aire seems to be a great look for the artist.
Legac has opened up for several major artists: Bun B, Murphy Lee, Poteez, Louisiana Cash, 8ball,Jody Breeze from the group Boyz In The Hood, The Shop Boyz, GS Boyz just to name a few. Legac new project Blacc Sunday is said to be one of his best projects with songs like: Blacc Sunday, Your All In, You’re A Drugdealer ,Tell Me, and Dedication to The Fleetz is more than enough to get the job done and make a point. As Tel Welch of SoSo Def Virgin Records once said with the right label behind him and guiding his career he can be one of the greats.
