Nicki Minaj was the musical guest this morning on The Today Show. The Harajuku Barbie braved through her set of songs with bruised vocal chords
She tweeted to her fans about her medical condition.
"Doctors orders. Out for the count now," she wrote. "Another x-ray cmng up! Its a bruised Vocal Chord. ... Jordin Sparks was praying for me backstage cuz she had a bruised vocal chord too! Haha! We were so dramatic!"
Despite her illness she managed to perform "Starships," "I Am Your Leader," "Beez in the Trap" and "Pound the Alarm."
