Nick Cannon In Talks To Bring Back 'Soul Train'

Nick Cannon is in talks to bring Soul Train back to the airwaves. The R&B variety show became a big hit after if was created by Don Cornelius in 1971.

Soul Train became known for it's in-studio dancers, performances by top R&B acts and Cornelius' parting catchphrase: "And as always in parting, we wish you love, peace and soul!"

The show ended production after the 2005-2006 season.

According to Vibe, Cannon would like to bring the show back with a modern day format that would include today's popular rap and R&B acts as guest performers.

Let's be real, with Nick Cannon attached it, this s*** is going to be commercial as f***. Ads flashing on the screen every five minutes, in studio twerk teams, not real dancers, and I can already see his mans Tyga performing. C'mon son.
