Meek Mill Responds To Kendrick Lamar's 'Control' Verse "If He Wants To Get Competitive, We're Going To Have Some Fun"

Kendrick Lamar will probably get a lot of on wax responses for his verse on Big Sean's "Control" where he tells various rappers by name that he will murder them on a record and is the king of New York and the West Coast.

Meek Mill has responded in an interview with CBS Philadelphia.

“Kendrick Lamar, I don’t think he was trying to insult any of us, you know. We all know each other personally," Meek said. “There were a lot of names that weren’t mentioned. I like those type of games. I definitely don’t think it was an insult. It was a competition thing. A competitive type thing. I live for competition. Everyone who knows me knows I don’t want to lose in a game of nothing. I don’t want to lose in a game of tic-tac-toe. I’m not going to make a diss record for Kendrick Lamar. But if he wants to get competitive, we’re going to have some fun.”

@This5 - This will be my last time addressing you. I was referring to Kendrick staking his claim as a dope M.C, not Meek. I was agreeing with how Meek perceived the verse as not an insult, but rather a competivate jab at his fellow artist. And, if no one is reading my "essays", tell me how you were able to misinterpret my statement without reading it? Better yet, don't answer that. This quote just keeps on giving, "Youngins ice grillin me, oh you not feelin me? Fine, it cost you nothin to PAY ME NO MIND". Please take heed to that last line if you will.

That was his point. He said he can juggle both coasts with one hand.

I appreciate Kendrick challenging the new cats. Hip Hop is boring and repetitive as hell right now because there are no face offs. None of these mainstream cats had to come up through the battle circuit and that's why there's no edge in their bars.

Meek, you gotta grab this moment if your gonna be around past winter. Your album had so much hype, such a push and it was a solid TURD. Kendrick dropped and you werent even in a good album conversation. Stop yelling at us and just spit. Spit or go home.
