Video After The Jump
Ma$e is back on the music scene and making noise after Diddy finally being released from his Bad Boy Records contract after 16 years. He sat down recently with Sway In the Morning to chop it up.
Ma$e speaks on the advice Notorious B.I.G. gave him to do as much as you can when you're hot because it's not guaranteed fans will be feeling you next year.
"That's what made me take advantage of doing something else," Ma$e told Sway. "I knew I could do more than music but I didn't have the courage to really step out and do it. I knew my whole life I was going to do something other than just music. Music was just the direction people kept pushing me in."
The rapper/pastor feels like he's accomplishing things Tupac Shakur set out to do, but didn't have the chance to do before his death.
"I believe I'm doing right now what Tupac envisioned to do but he never got around to doing because he wasn't able to make that decision," Ma$e said.
Ma$e goes on to talk about how the deaths of Tupac and Biggie affected him and more.
