Mikey T The Movie Star caught up with M1 of Dead Prez recently. The two covered a lot of ground regarding Dead Prez's time in the industry. Why it's taken so long to release new material and how they almost signed with Jay-Z.

Since their 2000 release of their debut album "Let's Get Free", Stic-Man and M1 have provided a strong, positive voice withing the black community that has sorely lacked role models.

i would have loved for dead prez and jay electronica to hook up on some music. maybe it would influence jay z to stop rhyming about lower level foolishness.
