Lupe Fiasco decides to keep it simple an goes with an all black theme for the cover art to his fourth studio album Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part 1.
The cover is reminiscent of Prince's 1994 project titled The Black Album, which was released as a reaction to critics who said he had gone too-pop. It was his attempt to regain his African American audience.
Lupe's previous album, Lasers, received criticism in some corners that he too had gone pop. With the release of his new "B**** Bad" music video, Lupe shows that he is still very much in touch with his roots.
Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part 1 will be released on September 25th.
