Lloyd Banks Ready To Try His Hand At Producing. Cites Kanye West, Eminem & Dr Dre As Influences

Not satisfied with simply being one of the best rappers in the game, Lloyd Banks is ready to go behind the boards.

Banks talked about his desire to produce with AllHipHop recently.

"One of the biggest things I want to do is I want to produce," Banks said "As far as sounds. I kind of know what's missing or what would even just sound dope in certain places. I'm also learning how to alter my voice a lot, and use it different ways. But I know there's so much more I can do. I think you can't be the best artist you can be, like completely overall, until you're able to dictate the pace of your music. And the only way you do that is to be able to create the beat. So artists like Dr. Dre, Eminem and Kanye West are the best for a reason. They don't have to wait to get a beat from whoever the hot beat maker is. They create it."

The 'Hunger For More' is not just an album title for Banks, it describes his attitude towards his music and why he's continued to grow as an artist. Production is the next logical step.

Make sure you pick up 'The Hunger Fore More 2' in stores now!

@chris N****, You think about lollipops when you hear lil Wayne, Listen her kid "Prove A Point" instead of talking out ya a**. Lil Wayne 6"7" - " You close your mouth and let your a** talk". Banks is good rapper. But he's not dat flame. So Their for should not produce s***, Kid doesn't even have the record sells fool.... I'll sit back and wait until he shows me. Just like 50 cents unheard unseen Movies you can find for 99 cents at RedBox lol. Stick to what made you famous lol

Banks is one of the few rappers out there that is truly improving with time. He's not a fad.. I've listened to 10 years of his material, back from the Banks Workout on 50 Cent is the Future to HFM1 to HFM2 and so on. It's great to see him DELIVERING his lines instead of just saying them, and he's absolutely right about pacing.
