Lil Wayne could care less if 'Tha Carter IV' leaked, and why should he? If history repeats itself the 4th installment of 'Tha Carter' series will be picking up where No. 3 left off in terms of sales.
Early projections from Billboard had the album pushing close to 850,000 units it's first week out. Now HitsDailyDouble is estimating the final total could be closer to 975,000.
When MTV caught up to Weezy after his VMA performance Sunday, he said he never stressed it when the record leaked several days prior to it's August 29 release date.
“We did real good this time, real good," Wayne said. "It just means people want to hear it. I mean, ’cause there are people’s albums that come out that can be leaked and don’t leak, so I’m glad mines leaked.”
Is he taking shots at The Throne or no?

Both Jay-Z and Lil Wayne bought they own albums to make it seem like they sold. They are getting part of the money back and the rest is like buying promotion and ya'll eating all this sh!t up. Meanwhile jay-z and lil wayne are probably smoking together getting richer while ya'll fight over whos selling more.

lol @HolidayVII, Jay-z didnt invent anything he introduced it to us. Other rappers successful went to lambos and ferraris, he went to rolls royces/bentlys. and niggaz was NOT wearing fitted hats b4 Jay-z they were wearing knit hats or trucker hats. And he introduced the word swagger, white ppl been using the word but to their own. Swag started with button up shirts looking more presentable...you idiot!!!
