Lil Flip had vowed to fight the charges stemming from his December arrest in Louisiana when he was stopped for speeding and cops found weed and an AR-15 assault rifle in his vehicle.
Yesterday the Houston rapper pleaded not guilty to possession of a firearm, possession of a schedule 1 narcotic (weed), and speeding according to TMZ.
The "Game Over" rapper has a Texas concealed handgun license that he says is also valid in 22 other states, including Louisiana
Flip also denies carrying weed with him on the day of his arrest. Instead he says they were "Black and Mild" wine flavored cigars and clove cigarettes
A pre-trial date has been set for April.
