You love to hear the story again and again about how KRS-One burst on the scene in the 80’s after being initially scorched by the Juice Crew’s leaders the late Mr. Magic and DJ Marley Marl. After that, he set it off on the crew with Boogie Down Productions in what would be one of the most storied battled ever.
But fast forward to the present day. 50 Cent has been calling out Jay-Z in a number of songs and interviews in an attempted to lure his fellow Hip-Hop mogul into a lyrical championship bout.
On Beanie Sigel’s “I Go Off,” 50 Cent says, “Yeah, you changed, man. You let the money change you, Jay. You used to be from Marcy, [Brooklyn] n***a. Now you a pass the Grey Poupon a** n***a. You don't want the shooter? I'll take him. [laughs] N*gga, feed the wolves or else the wolves feed off you. Eat your a** alive! I live by a combat's creed. Strategy. Your move, n***a."
Jay-Z has yet to respond, but AllHipHop.com had to solicit the opinion of KRS-One, a man whose insights seem to know no bounds. So, the Blast Master comments on the beef, but also how it should go down, should Jay-Z and 50 lock in. Furthermore, KRS theorizes how it all could make dollars and sense for the two moguls.
lyrically jay-z lost to nas, not finacially brother, thats two different genres! Always realize it's lyrics first, then sales later if you're a true hip-hop fan! Jay-z even admits he got stronger after ether! listen carefully brother!
Spoken by a true legend! Yea, 50cent would be with that, but Jay-Z wouldn't want to do that. Make some money out of this for some people in need instead of doing it just for entertainment and prestige. Let's go Kings of New York, there can only be one king, the battle is inevitable!

50 would rip KRS apart.. he aint even in his way.. jay on tha other hand might be but still, 50 got it all on lock, nobody can f*** wit him..
50 Vs. Jay Z: Basically Jay Z does some foul s*** & that's all the ammo 50 needs. The way Jay uses his supposed homeboys (taking them on tour and paying them pennies or dumping Dame after he helped secure his success), the way he uses Beyonce's fame to increase his own internationally, etc.
50 doesn't go at somebody unless there's ammo and there's lots of ammo to be used against Jay. Just like with Wayne... He kisses dudes. Or Game.. He was a male stripper, which is very popular among the gay community and 50 wrote his best songs. Or Young Buck.. He's a drug addict. Or Rick Ross.. He's a C.O. What can Jay say about 50 other than some fancy metaphor about how he's really a quarter and not 50 cents?

KRS 1 has to be smokin crack.Jay-z and 50 are both so big right now that nobody can destroy them in a rap battle.If anybody was gonna destroy jigga in a rap war it should of been done 10 years ago.It would be a waste of their time going at each other.

First off...2 nebody dat think Jay-Z would murk Fif lyriCally in a battle, Consider this: Jay-Z bar 4 bar is not harder than Jadakiss or nebody on D-bloCC 4 dat matter...dat CheCCmate joint dat Jadakiss put out gettin @ Fif and da problem Child joint and Shots fired is as lyriCal as its gonna get when it Comes 2 a dis reCord...only thing harder is Ether...So dont Count Fif out, Cuz he won all these battles he already been in...Da more I think about it...This would b CRAZY!!!

50 would win.. Jay is all lyrical. But 50 far more resourceful than Jay. Jay lost to Nas. So I would not be surprised if Jay lost again. He a great rapper. But he not as good as 50 when it comes to beef
