Kendrick Lamar Says Dr. Dre's 'Detox' Got Pushed Back Because Of His 'good kid m.A.A.d city' Album [Video]

Kendrick Lamar's good kid m.A.A.d cityalbum hit store shelves today. In the weeks leading up to it's release K. Dot sat down for a lot of interviews promoting the project.
Here is one with @punablog where he mentions that Dr. Dre pushed his long awaited Detoxalbum back to get Kendrick's out first.
"Detox got pushed to the back just because [of] my album," Kendrick said. "Dre really found an interest in my music. He really wanted me to go forward and push that immediately. And that's a great thing. I've heard the records on Detox, it's insane. Just the opportunity to be on that is a privilege... an honor."
Hopefully Detox will eventually be released at some point.

Detox has been pushed back because of: kendrick's album, game's album, 50's albums, em's albums... If aftermath continues to grow detox is never coming out.

Nobody gives a flying FU-CK about that detox anymore, I used to 2-3 years ago when I listened to Dr. Dre but hell naw, not now, ain't a fan, the only way that album will be successful from a commercial point of view is if Dre goes POP like he did on that sh-itty as-s song "I Need A Doctor", let's say Dre's fanbase was about his age when he was popping in 1992, he was about 30 then, you gonna tell me that his "loyal" fans (50 year olds) gonna give a fu-ck about DETOX in 2013?!!? LOL Dre is a good producer but he will go POP and that will be bad for Hip-Hop, but it ain't new

Everybody says who cares but they will be the first to cop the album. For real, are there any rap albums better then "The Chronic" or "2001"? They were so well put together! We all know he is a perfectionist who records thousands of tracks and picks a very few to make a masterpiece album!
