Kendrick Lamar closed out Cali Christmas with a bang. Moments before taking the stage, the West Coast’s golden child spoke with Rap-Up TV about his big year, topping critics’ best-of-the-year lists with his debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, and his favorite album of 2012.

He also explained how his collaboration with Dido came together (“Let Us Move On”) and updated us on his collaborative album with J. Cole.

I like Kendrick Lamar and everything he stands for. His opinion is his opinion. What's a classic to him may not be a classic to you, perception is everything. There are many levels of truth, choose the one that best suits you. Big Ups!!!

life is good is the best album of the year,matter of fact.life is good is the best album of the last decade.nas music is art.something rappers like 50 cent and them could never make.i like 50 cent but it take real talent & a real gift 2 do what nas do.nas on a whole other level.nas most def the only mainstream artist thats worst listening 2.

Life is good is not classic. I'm tired of n***** saying Everthing is classic when its far from it. 5 yrs from now n***** will not be listening to life is good. The album is a solid LP that's it. Not classic
