Juelz Santana + Internet Bloggers= Read the rest of this post….I’ve come to realize that a lot of the artists out today aren’t to keen on the opinions of internet bloggers. I mean, I totally get the gesture of one, and one being the artist, not understanding the perspective of the other, and other meaning the blogger. But I do believe the correlation between the two is somewhat connected since they’re both engulfed in the same world; music.
There are, however, some bloggers who just talk sh*t about people just because they’re confirmed with the idea of never having to see those actual faces and I think that’s what most of these rappers, Juelz being one of them, is referring to. I caught up with Juelz last week and asked him about his opinion on the internets and its musical components, check out what he had to say below….
Juelz Santana on music blogs and the bloggers……
“I think the internet is a plus and a minus. For one, it’s the best promotion, though, in the world especially when you don’t have an album out at the time it’s a beautiful way of promotion, you know what I’m saying? And it’s free promotion at that. I don’t really entertain the bloggers or the comments and stuff like that. Anybody that has time to sit and type at they computer might be gay to me. I mean just typing a comment. You could be typing and talking to somebody, but typing a comment on something that you see is kind of crazy to me”.
While I do agree with his statement about the internet being the best and cheapest form of promotion, I think it’s a little much to call someone gay because they’re commenting on what they’re viewing.
The whole point of online promotion is for the consumer to offer their opinion on what they’re watching. I’m not saying the viewer has to be disrespectful, but an honest opinion or constructive criticism never hurts. It’s better than having a bunch of yes men around you 24/7.

you have to be able to state your opinion. that's different from saying i saw juelz doing something i didn't that's lying and hating. but if i believe something i'll state it maybe not right now but later on you might realize it is a good idea or the bulb might come on right away. he assumes because people aren't in the business (yet) they don't know what's going on. we are the focus groups. we're the ones your trying to sell to. so we're telling you what we see. it's up to you to know what's garbage and what's sound advice. this is real life grow up everybody won't say yes masser! no my dude we have brains
