Rumors were swirling around the net yesterday claiming that Dipset Capo Jim Jones had been jumped in Harlem.

Later yesterday, Jimmy addressed the rumors and confirmed that there was indeed an incident involving him that day.

In a message to Miss Info, Jimmy states that "I was in Harlem, alone, when three men stepped to me," he explained. "Well the first guy, I beat the s*** out of him, then the second guy jumped in with a metal pipe. I was so amped up I didn't even feel him hitting me with it. I was still putting a beating on the first guy. But when the third guy pulled out a gun, I got out of there. I left. Anyone with a brain would do the same."

Jimmy hinted that the incident may have been an attempted robbery due to the jewelry he was wearing and stated he would think twice before hitting the streets by himself.

"That was a stupid mistake. I know that. I'm human and that's where I slipped up. It won't happen again."

The 'Capo' seemed fine after the incident however as he hit the studio and even released a pic showing himself as to prove no real damage was done.
