Jennifer Lopez Delivers With Her New Album, 'A.K.A.' - In Stores June 17th!

Jennifer Lopez A.K.A. The Queen of Pop Music has not lost her touch one bit. The Bronx beauty is gearing up to release her 10th Studio Album, A.K.A. on June 17th. I can tell you now from the first listen, fans will not be disappointed!

It’s been three years since JLO released her last album, ‘Love,’ however don’t think the star was just sitting around. In the meantime, the global icon has toured the world, shot Hollywood movies, judged American Idol, and recently just acquired the Fuse TV Network.

Jennifer Lopez takes it back to her hip hop roots with this latest album, A.K.A. Featuring appearances from T.I., Nas, French Montana, Rick Ross, & Iggy Azalea, JLO shows us that she’s still in tune with her hip hop roots. On tracks like ‘Same Girl’, Jennifer makes it clear that she’s still the same ol’ Jenny From The Block. With lyrics like ‘I’m tired of trying to make you see that I’m still me/ Cause I’m on the same grind/ No I never change /I’m lovin everyday/ I know that I’m the same Jenny from around the way.’

Cuts like ‘Never Satisfied’ & ‘So Good’ remind us of why we first fell in love with JLo. JLo’s soothing voice and utter confidence is admirable. JLo previously said this CD was based on personal experiences and you can certainly hear that throughout the album. On Troubeaux featuring Nas, JLo rides her vocals over the hiphop classic, ‘They Reminisce Over You’, showing homage to fellow Bronx native Pete Rock.

Overall A.K.A. is a great solid album. JLo’s Die-Hard fans will not be disappointed! Despite not recording music in a few years, JLo certainly hasn’t lost her touch one bit. A.K.A. is a powerful album, with real emotion and full of hits!

Man, I really wish I get a girl half as decent as Jlo in my life, heck, any girl would be nice for that matter. I'm really tryna step my game up, working hard, trying to get that manager position at KFC, I'm tired of sweating over the deep fryers with my boss breathing down my neck, I deserve better. As soon as I get my money up, maybe girls will start taking me serious, who knows.

How can something be great when She can't sing. She can hold a bit of a note but the voice is all studio and never live on stage, never! lol Give the freakin producer props.
