Jay-Z "Paranoid" About Becoming A Father, But Says He's Positive He'll Be A Better One Than His Own Dad "I'm A Highly Principled Person"
Jay-Z's father walked out on his family when Hov was 11-years old. The pain that caused the rapper still bothers him to this day. Now, as he prepares to become a father for the first time himself, he says he's sure he won't make the same mistakes his dad made, although he's still a little paranoid.
"It makes me a little paranoid because no matter what, I don't think any person, or any male, goes into a relationship thinking that they're going to leave or wouldn't be there," he told PEOPLE. "I think the circumstances a lot of times dictates things, right?"
Hov added that his principles are what sets him apart and he believes that ultimately that's what it comes down to.
"I'm just a different kind of guy," he says. "I'm a highly principled person. I come from a real place where you had to be a highly principled person. So, I'm pretty confident that I'll figure it out."

i bet hell be a great dad like the rest of em hell have nannys butlers maids and s*** lookin after his kids. him and bey def to busy for that s***. theyll take care of it for a year then it will be in a nannys hands till its old enough to be a star

I know theres alot of deadbeat dads out there but alot of times the mothers are shady and unbearable. and thats not an excuse to not take care of your kids but the system is stacked against the father. and the reason i say this is because jay-z mom probably a disgusting pig.

Jay-z thinks already spending a million before the baby is born is being a good father. What him and Beyonce need to do is take a few years off to take care of the baby.
