Jay-Z Launching Occupy Wall Street-Inspired Shirts

XXL reports:

Just a couple of days ago, Jay-Z was photographed wearing a T-shirt that read the words “Occupy All Streets,” inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement. Now, Gawker reports that Jigga Man is going to be dropping the exclusive tees through his Rocawear line starting today (November 11).

A spokeswoman for Rocawear told the newspaper that the T-shirts were being produced in support of the movement, but not financially. “‘Occupy All Streets’ is our way of reminding people that there is change to be made everywhere, not just on Wall Street,” the Rocawear spokeswoman said in a statement. “At this time, we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement.”

Meanwhile, Occupy Wall Street protesters continued their march to Washington, D.C. Thursday (November 10), making a stop at Rahwah, N.J., where a family fed them peanut butter-and-jelly and sandwiches, fruit and water. They hope to make it to the nation’s capital on Nov. 23 and plan to persuade lawmakers not to extend the Bush-era tax cuts for the rich

This is b*******....The whole point about occupying Wall street is about the 1% taking from the 99%...Now Jay-z is doing the same exact thing cashing in from people who support this movement while he fills his pockets with cash from the 99%....So this makes Jay part of the 1% that is taking from the 99%....This is f***** up, it's not even like Jay-z needs the money this is really an example of corporate greed.

That n**** will cash in on anything. Bad look for Russel showing up with Kanye and Jay. I don't have a problem with these guys supporting I have a problem with the fact that none of them have put they're weight behind lyrically or financially yet they seem to want to tie they're name to it ...smh ?

I'm glad to see more and more influential people lend their support to "let's occupy wall street"... We all know Fif was the first of his peers to speak out in support of... This is a great thing...
Remember it wasn't too long ago when blacks couldn't ride in the front of the bus... It took one woman who was sick and tired of being sick and f*cking tired to set the civil rights movement into motion...
We accomplished change, and it was all done through peaceful protests and boycotts...

Jay-z is just like the politicians that claim they care about and support that Occupy b/s....they all hypocrites.
So Jay is selling shirts to show his support? LMFAO. Wouldn't that be the same kinds of capitalism that the hippies and other stooges spreading t.b and hepatitis in the tent cities are against?
$hit be hysterical.... All these people who came to power via corporate greed wanna act like they support today's latest fad,, business as usual.
