J. Dilla a.k.a. Jay Dee was one of the best producers of our time. He lost his life way too soon after succumbing to the blood disease Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura in 2006 at the age of 32.
However, because of his tireless work ethic we continue to get new music from the Detroit beat maker.
On February 5, a special 10" is being released titled Music From the Lost Scrolls Vol. 1. The project is being put together by friend and confidant Frank Nitt from Frank and Dank.
