Hot 97 Program Director Ebro Responds To Call He Got From Nicki Minaj After He Said Peter Rosenberg Ended Her Career [Video]

Video After The Jump

Nicki Minaj isn't having her best week. First Steven Tyler criticized her skills as a judge on American Idol, which caused a big uproar. Then the sales figures for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up came in at less than 35,000 for the first week.

Then yesterday, Hot 97 program director Ebro said Peter Rosenberg ended her career when he criticized her earlier this year for going pop with records like "Starships."

Ebro says he got a call from the Young Money star yesterday regarding his comments. Among other things she called him a fake cornball and told him to never play her music again.

Should Nicki be trying to patch things up with with program directors instead of chewing them out?

I mean, how much did she really expect a RE-RELEASE to sell? Its just the same s*** with some bonus songs that are just as trash as the album. Should've just made the news an EP.

Whatever. I never even heard of Rosenberg until that summer blow up. Rosenberg ain't ending sh1t. Last time I checked she did go platinum with Reloaded and that happened after summer jam. Don't worry she'll still be around for yall to hate on. After a price drop the re-up eventually will go gold, but not platinum.

The fact that radio isn't breaking artist the way it used to makes this all a promo move to keep Hot 97 in the minds of those who forgot to care about the station..

Both of them are a FAIL. He was making a point until he said he would continue playing her music. An indication that he is not the one in control at that station. It's his bosses.

Nicki is a sell out, plain & simple. This chick started out Lil Kim & suddenly now trying too hard to be Lady Gaga. And its good to see her handle this with maturity, because calling a program director for Hot 97 a cornball and a fake is such a smart move & cool thing to do. "Cornball" & "Fake" Those words I was using in High School, then I grew up. SMH Thank god I grew up in the 90's, because hip hop now is full of 10 year old minded artists that take everything personal when they can't get their way.
