Happy Birthday Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson
Curtis James Jackson III was born 34 years ago, on July 6th 1975, in Southside Jamaica Queens. Losing his mother Sabrina when he was only 8 years old and not knowing his father, he got raised by his grandparents Beulah and Curtis.
Later on, Curtis became a drug dealer when only being around 12 years old, because he wanted to be independent and take care of himself.
When his son Marquise was born in October 1996, he tried to change his life, leave the drug business behind and make a break in the music industry.
Sabrina gave birth to a fighter and so 50 Cent did fight back after getting shot 9 times in 2000.
In 2002, Eminem discovered 50 Cent and so his rise to fame begun with his debut Album "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'".
But Curtis didn't just stop with just being a Rapper, he turned actor, got his own clothing and sneaker line, the Record Label G-Unit, his own Vitamin Water Flavor, Pure 50 and 50 Cent condoms...
With his successful path from a drug dealer in Southside Jamaica Queens, to a worldwide-known multi-million Dollar Artists, 50 Cent became a role model for many people who are struggling to make their way to success.
I am sure, 50 Cent's fame and success won't stop now with him turning 34 years old in 2009. And even so, there is a lot of controversy around 50 Cent, his fans all over the world support and love him without a doubt.
