Back in September Freddie "Gangsta" Gibbs formed his new ESGN imprint and released his Baby Face Killa project through a deal with EMPIRE Distribution. Many wondered why the release didn't come through Young Jeezy's CTE imprint who Freddie was signed to at the time.
Today that questioned was answered when Freddie announced that he and The Snowman had parted ways. Freddie told The Breakfast Club that there was no bad blood, but he felt the time was right to make the move from a business standpoint.
"At the end of the day it was a goo decision for myself and my family," Freddie said. "It wasn't nothing against him or none of that. It's just a move that I had to make personally and business wise. We just move in different ways. It's just best that he move in his way, best that I move in my way."
